The contemporary art collection covers a period between 1960 and now, with more incidence of works after the 1970s.
There are more than three hundred contemporary artworks with pieces by artists with international recognition, in different areas, like Joseph Beuys, John Cage, Merce Cunningham, Carlos Nogueira, Ornette Coleman, William Anastasi, Dove Bradshaw, Irene Buarque, Regina Vater, Maria Bonomi, Alison Knowles, Monika Weiss, Marcia Grostein and Rosemarie Castoro among many others.
This collection is characterized by concrete, conceptual and electronic art, representing different countries like the United States, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Poland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Canada, Russia and Brazil.
The spirit of this collection is to be always in progress.
